Got to go check out the Bugatti Chiron with a good buddy. It was pretty special, as there are only 2 finished display cars in the world right now (the other being in monaco). It is fantastic in person(pics do not do it justice at all)...way better than the veyron.
Also, got to drive a wraith (loaner car!)..Ive been lucky enough to spend a few days driving a ghost last year around to the Monterey car week events, so I really “get” the whole Rolls Royce thing. They were never my type of car, but they are fantastic to drive, unlike anything else and feel every bit a 300k+ car. If you every get a chance, drive one.
I guess ill just let the pics speak for themselves(sorry for the crap camera phone pics...was a last minute thing so didnt get to grab my camera):
And a few shots of the wraith(love that starry night headlinder!)-

Two things about this shot: (1) that looks like short room, and (2) the seating position follows the curvature of the side design. Neat.

There was another OPPO that was there a few days ago I think.

Am I the only one who hates the tailpipes on the VW?

Yea the little design nuggets all over the place is great. As a designer, i really appreciate the level of thought that went in to that kind of stuff.
As for leg room, i didnt really try to mess with anything(apparently not many people have sat in it...the salesman hadn’t even sat in it yet, so i was trying to not brake any preproduction parts lol). But yea im around 5'11 and it felt pretty snug(about the same as a p1)

Thanks for the exhaust pic! It seems to have a similar setup to the Aventador which makes sense.

Makes sense, my buddy had gone down there last week to sit in it and take a look...this trip was so i could check it out.

This is a clever detail:

Yea. Thats a bad view of it, but in perspective side view, it really nicely mirrors the silver signature line breaking up the two paint colors.

I’m so jealous that you got to sit inside! I went to see it while it was on display at Christie’s in Rockefeller Center. The number of subtle, yet powerful design elements was mind numbing.

Nice pictures! Yea it really is awesome in person. And as for getting to sit in it- it helps when your buddy may be getting one. Otherwise theres no way in hell they would let a plebian like me sit in it lol.

This is a much, much more cohesive design than the Veyron.
The Veyron was a technological achievement in a package that didn’t inspire lust, but the Chiron is actually beautiful from some angles.

I went to school for transportation (car) design. Working at a small startup in silicon valley . I did the styling (and modeling) for this last year-

Wow, the Chiron’s interior looks surprisingly minimalist. I really like it.

Nice! I’ve got a BFA in graphic design. My day job is more technical (GIS mapping), but I freelance on the side (mostly logo/identity work).
Here are some I’ve done: http://davidlange.co/
And here’s one I’m finishing up:
